Mary Ann's Story
I married Richard in 1975. Celebrated our 47th wedding anniversary in 2022. Took our family with us on a cruise to celebrate & do a vow renewal for our 40th. Took 2 other cruises with the family and 8 others on our own. We LOVE cruising! We also vacationed with our kids & grandchildren at the beach and in the mountains.. We love to travel & have explored Switzerland by train, been to London and Paris, and explored the Caribbean as well as extensive traveling in the United States.
We've been blessed with a daughter and two sons. We also have a wonderful daughter in law, two granddaughters and two grandsons. I am retired from the Charlotte-Mecklengburg Police Department-Internal Affairs, and my husband is retired from US Airways.. We live in Concord, NC for over 30 years.. Important stuff about who we are - Rich and I attend a Baptist Church and we accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior in 2000. This decision has enhanced our relationship with God and with each other. It has also helped us to keep in perspective what's really important. I'd like to invite you to get to know Jesus. If you're not happy with the church you're attending, try another. If you're not attending church, give it a try. You've got nothing to lose and a whole lot to gain. I'm talking from personal experience. This life is fleeting, but eternity with Jesus awaits! John 3:16: For God so loved the world that He gave his only Son that whoever believes in Him shall have eternal life.
